Irish Hotels Federation 2018 Survey

Rates on average increased by 15% from 2017 to 2018.

The average room rate charged now ranges from €40 to €215 per night for a B&B in low season to 5-star city hotel in peak season. The average rate of hotels surveyed across the region was €109.

Ballynoe House Pricing

Our pricing schedule confirms that Ballynoe House continues to offer excellent value for money for luxury accommodation (indicated pricing per person per night, based on full occupancy of any given guest house and 4-night minimum stay):

Low Season: €30

High Season: €36

Weekends (3-nights): €62.50

Note that our rates are all-inclusive of VAT and services.

We offer you something more than traditional cottage-style self-catering. With every bedroom en-suite you have luxury hotel-style accommodation in an upmarket self-catering environment set in a tranquil rural retreat.

In 2019, we made the decision to absorb the hike in VAT. Pricing in 2020 is under review. Direct booking, which avoids fees paid to online travel agents (OTAs), helps us to support the local community and keep pricing lower than it may otherwise be.

We think that when you review the accommodation on offer in our area of West Cork, including guesthouses affiliated to local hotels, you will agree. We thank you for your continued support as we continue to establish our business. Please remember to always book direct.
