“We had a fantastic stay in Ballynoe House. We have three small children and they loved the freedom they had on the grounds, the fairy trail was a big hit. The house was really modern and well laid out and the location is great. We will definitely be back.”

“Having a second or even a third chopping board for food preparation is very helpful especially when gluten free foods need to kept separate from non-gluten foods. Also having some dishwasher and washing liquid in stock is also worthwhile for the guests! Thank you.”

[Reply: Our starter pack is designed to get guests settled in with the basics, which includes tea, coffee, sugar, milk, salt/pepper, a few dishwasher and washing machine tabs, washing up liquid, handwash & sanitizer & a toilet roll for each bathroom. Glad you found the additional chopping boards helpful.]

“Written recommendations for guests who are coeliac for places to eat or buy gluten free food (name and location in Clonakilty) would be very helpful for future guests.”

[Reply: We mention those we know about in our guesthouse guide provided in advance. Although Clonakilty is noted as a foodie town and for its’ support of gluten-free products, availability and menus do change. We have suggested this flag is provided by restaurants and cafes listed in the Clonakilty app (Xplore).”
